“World Assembly of Muslim Woman” to be established

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Head of the women affairs in the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, Laleh Eftekhari announced that the World Forum of Muslim Women is to be established in the coming days.She beckoned to the Muslims women potential against the soft war and underscored, “if the enemies want to fulfill their baneful aims through enhancing dispersion among people from different divine religions and schools of Thought, this is women who turned to the front line of resistance. “We should use such potential to forwarding the unity and solidarity goals and aims,” said the religious cleric. In another line of her speech, Eftekhari underscored that Women Affairs Center in the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, regarding the resolution of launching “World Assembly of Muslim Woman” passed in the 26th International Islamic Unity Conference, is about to mount a confab titled “World Assembly of Muslim Woman”, with some female pundits in attendance. “Role of Female NGOs in Progressing the Performance of the World Assembly of Muslim Woman”, “Delineating common policies for the harmonious development of Muslim women community in different countries” and “study the hows of interaction between Female NGOs and the World Assembly of Muslim Woman” are of some subjects to be discussed in the conference. The ways and hows of Female NGOs’ effect on the international community and Reasons and obstacles Female NGOs’ faced with by the aim of improving the status of women in the world will also be studied in this gathering. It is worthwhile to noting that the conference under the banner of “World Assembly of Muslim Woman” slated to be held on September 2013./149
