Rohani’s landslide victory defeated western conspiracies against Iran: religious leader

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Senior Vice President of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Agha Murtaza Poya prayed for the success of president-elect Dr. Hassan Rohani adding that future of Iran is very bright. Religious scholar expressing his views said that enemies of Iran have understood that they would not be able to accomplish their evil designs against the Islamic Republic. He went on to say that unity of the Iranian people is their strength. The religious figure asked western countries to stop plotting against Iran. Agha Murtaza Poya welcomed the election of Dr. Hassan Rohani as the president of Iran. He was confident that Iran would continue to progress under the leadership of Dr. Hassan Rohani. Pakistan Awami Tehreek leader replying to a question said that western countries have already accepted the peaceful nuclear right of Iran. “They know that Iran is a responsible nation and has always followed the policy of restraint,” said the religious leader. He added that West has understood that Iran would not withdraw from its right to nuclear technology and would not recognize the Zionist Regime. “Iran is a country which cannot be pressurized,” said the intellectual. Agha Murtaza Poya welcomed the statement of Dr. Hassan Rohani in which he expressed the desire to enhance ties with neighboring and regional states. Religious scholar said that West is in the state of shock on huge turnout shown by Iranians in 11th presidential election.
