(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - As the political atmosphere is heating up in Iran ahead of the 11th presidential election, “the enemies purport to project that Iranian are listless toward the event,” Haj Aman Dardi Akhound Yazdani, one of Friday Prayer Leaders of Bojnourd accentuated in making the remarks with Taqrib News Agency. The religious cleric spotlighted Iranians’ concern over their future destiny and reassured that the Arrogant world will be rocked by a high turnout in the election. Akhound Yazdani urged Iranian not to be alienated from this political event and underscored, “casting vote gives our credence to the Islamic Republic of Iran.” He touched the assertions that election is the patent index of religious democracy in this country, pointing out attending this profound event foil the enemies’ artifices, removing any credible threat against Iranian nations. Friday Prayer Leaders of Bojnourd in his effusive praise to Iranians’ loyalty to their revolutionary leader, the Late Imam Khomeini (AR) and his strenuous goals, anticipated, “a high turnout in the poll will hamper the enemies in fulfilling their malignant aims.” The eight political figures approved by the Guardian Council are MP Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel, former Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Velayati, Supreme National Security Council Secretary Saeed Jalili, Expediency Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei, Hassan Rohani, the director of the Strategic Research Center of the Expediency Council, former First Vice President Mohammad-Reza Aref, Tehran Mayor Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf, and former Telecommunications Minister Mohammad Gharazi. The eight candidates were approved after a 10-day vetting process. Iran’s 11th presidential election will be held on June 14.
