Ayatollah Mohsen Araki: "Islamic Awakening faces Muslims with a telling change"

Head of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought pointed to the audacious movement of Islamic Awakening and stressed such wave presages a return to the Islamic takes and values.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Head of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki beckoned to the splendid wave of Islamic Awakening which has spawned several resistance measures against the arrogance and said the very wave presages a return to the Islamic takes and values.In his impassioned speech in the two day confab held recently in Beirut and titled ‘Islamic Peace Committee’, the religious guru postulated the Islamic Ummah can linger on peacefully based on the Islamic rules and teachings. West striped of their power after the wave of Islamic Awakening pervades much of Muslim Ummah,  strive badly to fizzle the present movement out. Given that, “Muslims are going through far and away the most difficult time through their recorded history.” The religious scholar touched upon this unveiled fact that the enemies are bent on increasing dispersion among Muslims and spare no effort in doing so. Head of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought underscored, “ the Islamic Awakening wave faced Muslims with a perceptible change mingled with hope for forming a united Ummah.” Ayatollah Araki pointed to the main objective the recent conference held in a bid to forward and said the meeting seeks a methodical approach for providing a fertile ground for religious intercourse. Pointing to the establishment of Islamic Peace Committee, the seasoned cleric earlier conceded the committee does not depend on any organization but follows its goals under the auspices of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought. The two day confab of Islamic Peace Committee mounted by the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought and attended by religious savants from different countries. End item/ 149
