A number of leaders of the terrorist groups, the so-called military councils and brigades confessed to receiving money and weapons from foreign sides for perpetrating sabotage acts to undermine the country's stability.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - In their confessions broadcast on the Syrian TV on Sunday, the terrorist groups' leaders confessed to looting public and private properties and committing massacres against the innocent Syrians to accuse the Syrian army of having done so, the Syrian Arab News Agency reported.

They divulged the big role of al-Jazeera and al-Arabia Satellite Channels in what is taking place in Syria through fabricating and falsifying the facts with the aim of igniting sedition in Syria.

They also uncovered that a number of Istanbul Council's members called them to enhance coordination and set up websites on the facebook under various military names.

The leaders of terrorist groups said that Istanbul Council's members supplied them with money received from the Persian Gulf countries, particularly Qatar and Saudi Arabia, as well as, Turkey to form battalions and brigades to be under the command of the so-called free army.

They pointed out that the armed groups' members include mercenaries who fight for money, adding that al-Qaeda-linked Jabhat al-Nusra committed criminal and sabotaging acts in the Muslim country.

They stressed that one of the CIA officer called Michael, who is in Jordan, pledged to extend military and logistic aid to them.

They talked about a 48-person meeting attended by Brigadier Nehad Nader, leader of the so-called the military council in Daraa and the Southern Area Colonel Ahmad Ni'meh, leader of the so-called military council for Damascus and its countryside Colonel Khaled al-Hbos, some other participants from Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, US officers in Jordan as well as Prince Suleiman Bin Sultan.

Bin Sultan informed them during the meeting that Saudi Arabia will offer $2mln to them in order to form armed groups to join the brigades which work under the command of "the so-called free army".

The leaders of the terrorist groups, military councils and brigades belong to the al-Qaeda linked al-Nusra Front, the founders of the so-called Ansar al-Islam gathering, al-Mikdad battalion affiliated to al-Sahabeh brigades, al-Imam al-Ghazali battalion affiliated to al-Sahabeh brigades, Ahfad al-Rasoul brigade, founder of the engineering battalion affiliated to Sukour al-Sham brigade in addition to a number of experts in manufacturing mortars and ammunitions in the Eastern Ghota.
Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011. Many people, including large numbers of Army and security personnel, have been killed in the violence.

The Syrian government has said that the chaos is being orchestrated from outside the country, and that a very large number of the militants operating in the country are foreign nationals.

Several international human rights organizations have accused foreign-sponsored militants of committing war crimes.

In an interview recently broadcast on Turkish television, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said that if foreign-sponsored rebels fighting against the Syrian government take power in his country they could destabilize the entire Middle-East for decades.

"If the unrest in Syria leads to the partitioning of the country, or if the terrorist forces take control... the situation will inevitably spill over into neighboring countries and create a domino effect throughout the Middle East and beyond," he added.
