(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Aqsa foundation for endowment and heritage said that deputy speaker of the Knesset Moshe Feiglin called on the Jews to defile the Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday to celebrate their Passover festival.In a press release, the Aqsa foundation held the Israeli occupation regime fully responsible for the implications of such Jewish violations against the sanctity of the Islamic Aqsa Mosque.It emphasized that the Aqsa Mosque is a purely Islamic holy site and any Jewish presence inside any part of it is illegal and sacrilegious.The foundation called on the Palestinians in Jerusalem and the occupied territories to intensify their presence in the Aqsa Mosque to guard it from the Jewish break-ins and appealed to the 24th Arab summit to be held today to take action to protect the Mosque.For its part, the assembly of the Palestinian trade unions demanded the Arab summit conferees to put the issue of Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque at the top of their agendas and to urgently act to confront the Jewish desecration campaigns against the holy Mosque. In a press release on Sunday, the assembly urged the summit to activate the resolutions issued during previous summits regarding the Arab support for Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque.It also called for highlighting the issue of the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails and taking political moves to support their rights.End item/ 149
