A small group of opponents of Islamic Republic of Iran, backed by Zionists in Germany, raided against IRI Embassy in Berlin Wednesday afternoon.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - the violators whose number was about 20 people invaded the embassy building chanting the slogan that Gaza victory was gained resorting to Iranian missiles, which proved that the hands behind the scene of the attack were to be sought at the Zionist circles in Germany.

Violating the security of the Iranian diplomatic office in Berlin occurred under such conditions on Wednesday evening that the German police forces had been contacted about the plan of the invaders several times since Wednesday morning, but they refrained from performing their duties properly by attending the scene too late.

The invaders who were well equipped despite their small number had such facilities as telescopic sliding ladder and heavy duty cable cutter scissors, which enabled them to climb the wall and cut the barbed wire in shortest possible time and passed over the ling iron-bar fence, entering the embassy premises.

The other noteworthy point is that a number of reporters and journalists, too, were present in the vicinity of the IRI Embassy at the time of the invasion of the law breakers, which proves that the invasion had been well preplanned through certain channels.

With the delayed entry of the police forces into the embassy building a number of invaders fled, but according to the police sources, twelve of the protesters were arrested.

Following this move the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran attended the German Foreign Ministry and filed a protest against the cruel violation of the IRI Embassy’s premises, as well as the meaningfully delayed interference of the German police force and their failure in ensuring the security of the Embassy building.

According to an informed source, the German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle in a phone call to his Iranian counterpart Ali-Akbar Salehi expressed sorrow over the incidence and promised to pursue the matter in shortest possible time.

Police say a group of assailants pelted the Iranian Embassy in Berlin with stones and paint and pulled down an Iranian flag.

Berlin police said about 30 were involved in the incident on Wednesday afternoon. The assailants didn't enter the building and authorities were able to detain 12 of them.

German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle offered his assurances in his phone talk with Salehi that the embassy would be protected.
