(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Lebanese prayer leaders stressed Eid al Adha as an opportunity for Muslims to eliminate religious seditions in a bid to confront the US-Zionist plots in the region. Lebanese orators and religious figures, participating Eid al Adha prayer, focused on Muslim unity and called for prevention of religious seditions and highlighted unifying values and humanitarian aspects of the event.Sheikh Abdul Amir al Qabalan, Deputy Spokesman of Lebanese Shia Supreme Council, noted Eid al Adha as a merry occasion for the Islamic communities to gather for performing Hajj pilgrimage and said, “It is as if Muslims are called to be united and do not disperse.”
He said this gathering is a message on the unifying aspect of Islam and warn against the plots or moves that undergo your glory. This deputy at Lebanon Shia Supreme Council demanded Muslims around the world to be a unified body and cooperate with each other. Allameh Sheikh Afif Nablosi, a prominent Lebanese cleric in his sermon reiterated strengthening the unity, confrontation with intrigues and avoiding religious disagreements as the most important issue for world Muslims. He also stressed,” At present we are in urgent need of reviving the originality of Islam and not ruining the reputation of this holy religion with inappropriate behaviors.” Allameh Nablosi also hailed the basics of Islam and said,” Islam is founded on rising against disbelief and corruption and confrontation with the oppressors.” He said,” In any era, there have been oppressors and tyrants aiming at toughening the lives of Muslims; hence, we have to create our own dignified and honorable lives based on the teachings of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).” This religious figure also stressed the importance of rising against the US and Zionist regime as two leading corrupted figures in the region as well as the global arena. Sheikh Maher Hamoud, another prominent Lebanese prayer leader counted the so-called Islamic movements or figures who, quite contrary to guidance of God Almighty ruin the reputation of Islam in a bid to divide Muslim communities. He noted,” At present Islamic community comprises opposing groups including the excommunicators who permit the killing of their opposite sides and exclude their opposites from Islam” and added,” They are only in an Islamic disguise and their Islamic is a fake one.” Lebanese prayer leader warned against this fake Islamic view since it questions political views of Islam and finds the resistance as an enemy saying,” There is no obstacle for such fake Islamic view to serve the Zionist enemies.” Sheikh Ahmad Qabalan, Lebanese Shia Mufti, underscored the importance of protecting ones country and people. He added,” The political criterion for the US is to maintain the highest level of security for the Zionist regime; hence, no democracy of human rights is defined in this western politics.” He also referred to the situation in Syria and said,” According to what is happening in Syria, a big plot is under performance in the region and it has nothing to do with human rights.” Adding,” Topple of Bashar al Assad and regime change are not the only targets but it is to destroy an important stronghold against western dictatorships.” Seyyed Ali Fadl Allah, outstanding Shia cleric, warned against international seditious moves and noted,” The meddling of important countries to the changes of the Arab world and their struggles to misuse the crisis is only aimed at stabilizing their own stance in the region and in the world.” He stressed the importance of commonalities of Islamic communities and called for interfaith dialogues on the disagreements so that the way for religious and political sensitivities is blocked. Son of prominent Lebanese Shia leader, Allameh Seyyed Hussien Fadl Allah, also said,” Either religious or political, an intrigue, prevents our promotion in the Arab and Muslim world.” Shia figure demanded Lebanese nation to bring peace and tranquility by themselves and noted that logical dialogues, prevention of unrests and maintaining freedom of speech are the elements that have to be stabilized to support the peace in society.
