(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A Yemeni revolutionary force considered Tehran’s presidency to have impressive effects on NAM and regarded Iran as the most non-aligned country. With regard to NAM’s activities since its foundation, Ali al Bakhiti, a Yemeni revolutionist, said: “NAM was founded with the aim of confronting with eastern and western blocs and it certainly had an internationally important position that time. Unfortunately, some of the member states have deep relations with west and weaker ties with NAM members. We hope that NAM members improve their ties and support each other in accomplishing the goals of the movement, i.e. supporting weak, suppressed and developing nations.”Considering the presidency of Iran he stated: “presidency of Iran would certainly have great effects on NAM, I am not reprimanding Egypt but Iran is the most non-aligned country in the world. Iran is the pioneer of struggle against arrogant countries.”Surprised by Morsi’s speech about Syria, he remarked: “Syrian nation have lots of demands from the government and the reason of these chaos is the anti-Israeli stance of Assad’s government. He would not have faced such a crisis if he had acted according to the U.S orders.”He highlighted the absolute right of Iran in developing peaceful nuclear technology and said: “unfortunately several countries, especially from Arab league, neglect Israel’s nuclear warheads yet regard Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities dangerous. I hope Middle East countries take a closer look at Iran’s nuclear issue and support the inalienable right of Iran in this regard. He regarded holding of NAM summit as a diplomatic success for Iran and a failure for the west and said: “presence of officials from 120 countries including president Morsi and UNSG, Ban Ki-Moon, shows the diplomatic success for Iran and the failure of west in isolating Iran.”He also commented on the theme of this summit and reiterated: “this is an abstract of NAM goals and I am sure that Iran would do its best to accomplish these goals. Countries such as Venezuela would be of great help in this regard.”He considered the establishment of NAM news agency as a positive step in international setting and added that developing this agency would help realize NAM goals./129
