The UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has arrived in Tehran to attend the Non-Alignment Movement summit, as well as for talks with the Iranian leadership, according to the website of the Islamic Republic’s government.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has arrived in Tehran to attend the Non-Alignment Movement summit, as well as for talks with the Iranian leadership, according to the website of the Islamic Republic’s government.

The UN chief left New York on Tuesday and arrived in the Iranian capital on Wednesday noon.

Ban Ki-moon will specifically meet with Iran’s spiritual leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
