Iranian cleric rebukes world bodies over Myanmar terror silence

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - An Iranian cleric denounced the recent massacre of Myanmar Muslims and called international bodies as lethal and dominated by arrogant powers.Hujjat-ol-Islam Abbas Ali Soleimani, Interim Friday Prayer of Zahedan in the Easrern Province of Sistan and Balouchestan expressed his disillusion over ignorance of the international organizations regarding Myanmar massacre and urged Muslims’ rise to defend their rights.He said, “The world has been witness to anti-Islam moves by the arrogant powers because Islam stands against dominance and vicious objectives of the imperial powers.”He referred to the recent abuse of Myanmar Muslims and added, “The present events in Myanmar are sequence to aggressive policies of the arrogant powers.”The scholar criticized international organizations for keeping silence over the crimes committed against Muslims in Myanmar saying, “More painful than the crimes in Myanmar is the silence of the rights organizations.”He expressed regret over the killing of the people in Damascus, Peshawar or even the wedding parties in Afghanistan as well as Myanmar and called them proof of the crimes committed by the arrogant powers.Hujjat-ol-Islam Soleimani said massive number of people have been martyred in Myanmar while rights organizations do not make the least reference to these events.“This reveals an unwritten agreement between the arrogant powers and international organizations when they keep silent in regards to the arrogant powers but in regards to some other nations let out cries,” he said.This Iranian cleric rebuked the dual stances of some organizations and said, “If we are supposed to defend our rights, then there is no hope that these human rights centers help us for that.” /129
