(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Shia and Sunni officials in Iraq have issued statements condemning the terrorist attack outside a Shi’ite office in Baghdad, Lepoint website reported.A suicide bomber detonated an explosive-packed car outside the Shia Waqf office in Baghdad on Monday, leaving over 50 people dead or injured.The Shia and Sunni leaders in their statements called on Iraqi Muslims to maintain calm and warned them not to fall into the seditionists’ trap.Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki and parliament speaker Osama Al-Najifi, who is a Sunni, were among the first officials to slam the inhumane attack. They both urged Iraqis to maintain solidarity against the enemies of the country.Fares Al-Mahdavi, spokesman for the Sunni Waqf office of Iraq, described the terrorist bombing as barbaric and criminal, saying that such attacks aimed to move Iraq back to the years of war and violence.There are also reports that another bomb went off outside the Sunni Waqf office in Baghdad on Monday, which left no casualties. /129
