(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Maulana Syed Jalal Haider Naqvi, President Shaheed Motahhari Society in New Delhi, on Saturday said that the legacy Imam has left behind is immortal and continue to guide the mankind.
He noted that main characteristic of Imam was that his lofty ideology, thoughts and guidelines are not confined only to Iran but impacted the people across the globe. Imam Khomeini’s ideology has provided a massive boost to the oppressed.
He (Imam) not only recommended but emphasised that solidarity among Muslim should be the first priority, said Jalal, who is also the Secretary of Majlis Ulema-e-Hind.
Today, not only Muslims but all peace-loving people around the world commemorate the anniversary of the demise of Imam Khomeini to uphold his call for supporting the oppressed, he added.
Jalal further said that Imam’s thoughts, which led to the revolution victorious, constitute the essential progress of Iran in all fields, either it is political, cultural, economic or scientific.
Imam Khomeini, physically has departed but his spiritual presence is very much alive and growing, he concluded.
