(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - For the first time in India, couples from various religions and social groups got married under the same roof in Jaipur, or better known as the Pink City.
The "Samu Vivah Sammelan" or group marriage ceremony was organised by a local non-governmental organisation, Help People Foundatireon.
"I think if people follow this kind of trend, there will be no discrimination over caste and creed," Help People Foundation's chairman, Afreen Ritu Rajwat, said in a statement.
Many Bollywood celebrities including Devshi Khanduri (heroine in Chargesheet) and singer-musician Anup Jalota attended the ceremony and blessed the couples, it said.
