(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A Top Shia cleric was murdered yesterday, April 13, in a terror attack in Syria, Al Alam reported.
According to the website, Seyyed Naser Al-Alawi, Head prayer of Al-Alawi Hosseynieh in Zeynabieh District, was killed by an unknown armed person who opened fire on him in front his house while heading for the Hosseynieh.
He was taken to hospital right away but due to severe gunshot wounds, he passed away in the hospital.
Seyyed Naser Al-Alawiyeh was a religious activist who used to help families and individuals suffered from recent Syria unrest.
