(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - In a statement issued by his press office, al-Maliki said that Iraqi will not permit its land or sky to become a passage for weapons to any direction and from any source, noting that Iraq implemented a mechanism for checking shipments passing through to make sure that they contain goods and not weapons.
He said that this is part of Iraq's policy of rejecting armament and working to achieve a political solution to the situation in Syria that preserves the interests and goals of the Syrians and avoids further bloodshed, adding that Iraq is working diligently to eliminate all sources of violence and weapons.
