Thousands of Shia Muslims Participated in Ashura Day procession in Toronto + Pics

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - On the day of Ashura Tuesday December 06 (which is the working day in Canada) in Toronto the ninth annual Ashura day procession taken out in very cold weather organized by the ‘Ashura Day Organization Canada’.

In the procession thousands of Shia Muslims including women and children were participated from Greater Toronto area.

Before  procession Aamaal-e-Ashura and majlis were performed at 9 o'clock in the morning in Milliken park recreation centre hall, Molana syed aoun mohammad naqvi was given the speech, procession taken out at 10:30 am, and after three hour’s walk on the roads, ends at Hussainiyah Museum (Imambargah).

Toronto police did the nice arrangements for the procession. Toronto city councilor Mr.Reymond Cho was also attended the procession.
