Iraqi Shiite cleric renews his call for round table conference to solve political crisis

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Leader of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council (SIIC), Ammar al-Hakeem, renewed his call to hold a round table conference aimed to solving the political crisis.In a speech on Friday, Nov. 18, held at his office commemorating the 29th Anniversary of establishing the SIIC, Hakeem expressed support to the political process and to Maliki’s government.Hakeem said, “The SIIC will continue dealing objectively with the political process and works toward solving differences in a way that pleases all sides and achieves the principle of partnership.” /129
