(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Syrian President Bashar Assad appointed on Sunday two new governors for the northwestern province of Idlib and for the Damascus governorate.“President Bashar al-Assad on Sunday issued Decree No. 421 on the appointment of Yasser Salman al-Shoufi as Governor of Idleb and Hussein Makhlouf Makhlouf as Governor of Damascus Countryside”, Syrian News Arab Agency said on its official website on Sunday.“Al-Shoufi replaced former governor Khalid al-Ahmad and Makhlouf succeeded former governor Zahid Haj Moussa”.
