Ahlul Bayt News Agency - Israeli Knesset member Ayoob Kara (Likud) is under investigation for sexual harassment of a female employee in the Israeli prime minister’s office.
Israeli Radio said the woman filed the complaint six months ago against Kara, who serves as Deputy Minister for Development of the Negev and Galilee in the Israeli cabinet, over abusive language and obscene acts.
Police have begun to investigate and have recently gotten permission from the Israeli Attorney General to directly interrogate the suspect.
Kara, a Druze politician, has denied charges, claiming that they were fabricated in the framework of political objectives.
