(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Qom Seminary instructor, Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shira underlined that Muslims should commemorate the anniversary of the demolition of Shia sacred places in Mecca and Medina. Top Iranian cleric also has issued a statement recently to mark the 88th anniversary of the demolition of shia sacred places in Mecca and Medina. In the statement the grand ayatollah urged Muslims to call their own rights back and defend the August Islamic, historical places in Mecca and Medina. “Eighty eight years ago, some Wahhabis destroyed the graves of Ahlalbat in Baqi cemetery and hurt many Shia Muslims around the World,” said the scholar stating that Wahhabis’ information about Islam is rudimentary and superficial. The Grand Ayatollah also urged Muslims to be cognizant of the enemies’ machinations and stand against their malignant attempts. Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi condemned stongly such Heinous act and urged Muslims not to forget this lugubrious event.
