(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Since the 1980s, US and Saudi backed terrorists havve killed thousands of people in sectarian-related incidents in Pakistan in an organized way through different terrorists groups like Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP), Lashker-e-Jhangvi and others. The SSP was formed after Iranian revolution 1979.
Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) is a Deobandi / Wahabi organization, and a formerly registered Pakistani political party, established in the early 1980s in Jhang by Maulana Haq Nawaz Jhangvi primarily to deter major Shia influence in Pakistan in the wake of the Iranian Revolution. Latter the organization was banned by President Pervez Musharraf in 2002 as a terrorist organization under the Anti-Terrorism Act of 1997.
Sipah-e-Sahaba currently operates openly under the newly adopted name of “Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat.
During the 1980s, Zia-ul-Haq allowed and encouraged the militant of Pakistan. One of the organizations that arose in this period was the Sipah-e-Sahaba, a Sunni-supremacist terrorist group that considered the Shia minority to be non-Muslim. The Sipah-e-Sahaba targeted Shia mosques community leaders, as well as Iranian visitors and diplomats. They orchestrated the assassination of Iranian diplomat Sadiq Ganji in Lahore. They were also involved in the killing of Iranian Air Force cadets visiting Pakistan in the early 1990s, when sectarian attacks on Shias in Pakistan were at their peak. Both acts occurred in the northern city of Rawalpindi and greatly disturbed contemporary Pakistan-Iran relations.
In a really organized by Shipah-e-Sahaba in District Khairpur Mirs of Sindh Province of Pakistan, videos show at 0:52 and 5:45 the activists of banned outfit of Sipah-e-Sahaba chanting slogans saying ”Iran Murdabad” which means long die Iran.
