(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Ayatollah Jannati referred to the initiative of the Founder of Islamic Republic of Iran, late Imam Khomeini (May his soul rest in peace), who named the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as the World Qods Day, while adding that World Qods Day is the one in which all Muslims and other freedom-seekers stand up against the illegal Zionist entity.
Ayatollah Jannati pointed out that World Qods Day intends to expand anti-US and anti-Zionist spirit among the nations, and, therefore, the Zionist regime of Israel is going through its worst days.
In further remarks, Tehran’s interim Friday Prayer leader mentioned the crisis in Somalia, while criticizing the indifference of a few Western states and international organizations toward the appalling conditions of famine-stricken Somali people, and calling on Islamic countries to assist the Muslim people of Somalia.
In another part of his remarks, Ayatollah Jannati lauded and praised the successful conduct of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) against PJAK terrorist outfit, while noting that given the resolute actions of IRGC against PJAK operatives, peace and security have been established across Iran’s northwestern borders.
Tehran’s interim Friday Prayer leader also referred to prosecution of the former Egyptian dictator, Hosni Mobarak, while slamming the suppressive policies of Aale Saud regime and the Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi, and adding that the autocratic rulers, including those in Saudi Arabia and Libya, are awaiting the same fate as the toppled Egyptian dictator, Hosni Mobarak.
