Currently in Brussels are intensive preparations by the campaign of Freedom for Palestine to deliver the signatures under which the citizens of EU call upon their countries and the European Parliament to recognize and support the declaration of an independent Palestine within the fourth of June 1967 borders and Jerusalem as its capital.
The leadership of the campaign in Palestine and the various European Union countries announced that work is underway with parties and civil society organizations and committees of solidarity with the Palestinian people to declare September 21 a day of solidarity and the recognition of an independent Palestinian state and the right of self-determination for the Palestinian people, and demonstrations, sit-ins and forms of events will be organized on this day in support for the right of our people for freedom and independence.
