The World Forum slams controversial film on Shia Imams

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has slammed a controversial movie which depicts the complexion of two Shia Imams. “The movie is based on faked differences and conflicts among Shia and Sunni people,” it was said in a statement. “In this movie, some of actors play the role of holy figures and Imams and this event angered Islamic and scientific communities ” the statement read. The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought underlined that scholars of Al Azhar and Qom Seminary convicted such kind of movies. The organization also urged all Muslims to condemn the act which is aimed at create division among Muslim factions. The World Form organization also asked all film directors and producers to evade such kinds of movies. “Al Asbat “is the name of the movie in which some actors play the roles of the second and third Shia leaders of Imam Hasan and Imam Hussein (PBUT), the grandchildren of the Prophet Mohammad./129
