(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Many visitors Iraqis, Arabs and foreigners rushed to the section of the Holy Shrine in the Book, CDs Fair, held within the Spring of Martyrdom World Cultural Festival VII. The Holy Shrine was represented by the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs. The Fair opened on the first of Shaban 1432 AH July 3, 2011 on the halls of the Central Library in the province of Karbala lasted for ten days. It was attended by dozens of Iraqi, Arab and foreign publishing houses, receiving thousands of visitors from the Iraqis and different countries and a number of religious figures and academics during the past few days. Concerning the participation of Al-Abbas Holy Shrine in the fair, Vice President of the Department mentioned, Mr. Aqeel Abdul Hussein al-Yasiri declared to Alkafee; website saying "the section contained many of the religious, literature and general cultural issues issued by the Research Unit, the newspaper unit, the childhood versions and Alkafeel Center unit in the Media Division in the same Department where many introductory folders were distributed on visitors, in addition to the participation of the Library Division with catalogs through the House of Manuscripts and the contents of e-library including more than (2000) CDs containing more than (50000) titles of books in various fields of science, which can be browsed electronically, as well as CDs of e-books and religious movies and series and CD of educational programs in computer science and other, allowing the visitors register numbers of CDs to be acquired and obtained from the same section at very low prices not exceeding (1000) dinars for a CD (ie, less than one dollar), for (DVDs), and (500) dinars for (CDs), less than half a dollar. " Adding, " photography and visual production unit in the Division of Media, of the same section, participated in a lot of pictures printed artistically on mugs, plates, wooden boards and hundreds of images of the Holy Shrine with labels and posters of the small and large projects of the Holy Shrine created by the hands of the Iraqis presented to the public in different sizes and shapes." Regarding the participation of the Internet Division in the department mentioned, official of the Division, Mr. Haider Talib Abd al-Amir said "The Division participated by displaying the network (Alkafeel), the official network Al-Abbas Holy Shrine. It includes Alkafeel website in three languages Arabic, English and Persian in addition to site Al-Askariah Holy Shrine and Alkafeel forum so that visitors can browse the whole net (Off line) ". He added "It was announced that the (Al-Baqi) site is being prepared by the staff of the Internet Division. The site will launch in the anniversary of the demolition of the graves in the Baqi in Shawwal, which will provide all of the information, speeches, and historical events for this pure spot and documented in Pictures" Explaining " Alkafeel Institute for Information Technology and developing skills of the Division participated for the first time in this exhibition. It was introduced through distribution of CD and brochures. The administration of the Institute has announced a 20% discount for visitors to the exhibition who register for courses through the duration of the fair." It is worth to mention that the Spring of Martyrdom world cultural Festival VII is hosted and funded fully Secretariats of the Two Holy Shrines since its inception seven years ago to commemorate the birth of Imam Hussein and his brother Abu al Fadl al Abbas peace be upon them. It is marked this year by increasing the number of participating countries, amounting to more than 20 Arab and foreign countries.
