The gathering on the Islamic awakening titled: "The Pioneers of Awakening" has been held by the Iraqi students studying in Iran.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The gathering was attended by some representatives from Yemen, Syria, Bahrain, Tunisia, Afghanistan and Iraq.

The recent revolutions in the Middle East and Northern Africa have been discussed in the Gathering, which has been held on Thursday, July 7.

Mr. Tijani, the representative of Tunisia, had speech on the country's situation during Ben Ali ruling period. He explained the several Anti-Islamic plots of Ben Ali regime like Banning Hijab.
 
Mr. Morteza Abdollah Al-Mousawi, the representative of Bahrain, noted about the long term suppression of Al-Khalifeh regime in Bahrain and stressed the continuous protests to reach complete reforms. Ibrahim Ahmad from Sudan described the plots of arrogance powers, particularly USA and UK, to divide the country.

The Syrian student, Mr. Hasan Al-Dai', pointed out that the American and Israeli media  intend to reflect the recent protests in Syria as a popular uprising for collapsing the government but many Syrian people support the president and the current government.
