(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Friday prayer leader of Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina, said a satellite TV network has been launched in the country.

Abdul-Karim Ricardo Paz said the An-Nur TV has been set up by Argentine Shia Muslims to introduce the school of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) and countering baseless Zionist accusations.

He said after lots of efforts, the required permissions were obtained from the government to establish the network.

According to the cleric, despite various pressures from Zionists, Argentina’s Shia Muslims have been active in social scenes and have taken great steps to spread the teachings of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) in South America via radio programs, newspapers and journals.

Speaking about himself, Mr. Paz said, “30 years ago, after meeting with Imam Khomeini (RA),I vowed to serve Islam and strengthen the faith.”

He stressed that the Islamic Revolution of Iran revived Muslims’ identity and gave them dignity. “This was a blessing God gave Muslims through Imam Khomeini (RA), ”he went on to say.
