(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 2, in Paris, France, to commemorate the 22nd anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s (RA) demise.
According to the beytolzahra-paris website, the ceremony will be attended by Iranians residing I France, members of Iranian representative offices in the country, as well as a number of French Muslims.
It will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the conference hall of Beit-ol-Zahra Society in Paris.
Recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, recitation of Komeyl prayer and speeches by a number of scholars on the life and character of Imam Khomeini (RA) and his role in the Islamic awakening will be the main parts of the program.
The great founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran passed away on June 4, 1989.
