(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Hezbollah secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah is expected to speak about the US push for a return to Israeli-Palestinian negotiations in an address to be televised Wednesday, Lebanese newspaper An-Nahar reported Monday.

The newspaper said Nasrallah would snap back at US President Barack Obama, who on Sunday accused Hezbollah of carrying out "political assassinations" during a speech to American pro-Israel group AIPAC.

Nasrallah's message, marking Lebanon's Liberation Day, will be delivered via video link.

The popular leader is also expected to address the issue of the 1967 armistice lines as the basis for Palestine-Israel peace negotiations, as well as unrest in Syria.

Hamas slammed Obama's call for 1967 borders as a basis for talks, saying it proved that the US president did not have the region's interests in mind.
