(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Secretary-General of the World Assembly for the Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought Ayatollah Mohammad-Ali Taskhiri said here on Saturday that terrorism is a big obstacle in the way of materialization of global peace.
He made the remarks while addressing the International Conference on Global Alliance Against Terrorism for a Just Peace opened in Tehran this morning.
He reiterated that an international coalition is the only possible solution for removing the existing obstacle.
Materialization of Islamic ideals is the most important objective of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Taskhiri said.
He underlined the need for establishment of a just peace throughout the globe.
Over 100 foreign and 300 Iranian experts and elites are participating in the two-day event.
