(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Grand Ayatollah Sobhani stresses storytelling as the best way to give moral lessons and Islamic values to the minors. Grand Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani in the meeting with the participants of the conference titled "Religion, Children and the Media" counted media as the best way to take counter measures against the activities of the Zionists who aim at corrupting the society. Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani, senior Iranian jurisprudent said, "The Zionists are corrupting the society in different ways, media the most important of them." and highlighted the same means to foil the plots of the Zionists.
"Regarding the effect of story and storytelling on children, they can be the best means to educate the younger generation." said the scholar stressing the direct relation between storytelling and teaching moral values and Islamic principles to children.
"Publishing a magazine for the children in Muslim countries is a very important move." suggested the cleric and counted giving advices as one of the most influential ways to give an Islamic education to the kids noting that the way is not recommended in all processes of raising the children.
He quoted Imam Ali (AS), first Shia Imam and cousin of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) that heart of the children is a land where while grown up, you will reap whatever you have sown in their childhood and reiterated the importance of compiling the Islamic sources related to education and raising children.
