Rateb Abu Rahmah, the media coordinator of the anti-wall committee said that the IOF troops wounded a 16-year-old boy with a “tutu” bullet to his side, the wounded boy was taken to hospital. Another was hit with a stun grenade in his hand.
Abu Rahmah added that the IOF fired incendiary bombs at two protestors, in addition to raining the protestors with teargas canisters causing dozens of cases of breathing difficulties. The IOF also sprayed the protestors with waste water.
A huge protest was organised after the Friday prayers to mark the sixth anniversary of the popular campaign to resist the wall and settlement building.
Salah al-Khawaja, member of the popular committee against the wall in Bilin, who participated in the demonstration, said that the campaign as it enters its seventh year to stress our determination to continue with our peaceful resistance till the end of the wall, end of settlement building and end of occupation.
