The representatives of the Lebanese parties congratulated the occasion to the Iranian government and nation, and particularly to the Iranian youth.
Referring to the recent uprisings of the youth in various Arab countries, particularly in Egypt, they said, 'Such developments are due to the alertness of the nations that is itself influenced by the Islamic Revolution of Iran.'
The representatives of the youth branches of the Lebanese political parties meanwhile in a meeting with the IRI Ambassador to Beirut Ghazanfar Roknabadi while praising the advancements of the Islamic Republic of Iran in various technological and scientific fields announced their interest for visiting Iran and getting in direct contact with the developments, advancements and the achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Roknabadi, too in the meeting gave and address regarding the latest situation of the regional developments, particularly the revolutions of the people in Tunisia and in Egypt.
Elaborating on the political and economic achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran, particularly in manufacturing strategic products, they considered such advancements as blessings of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic's independence from both the east and the west.
The Iranian ambassador emphasized, 'Independence is the keyword for the entire nations, particularly the Middle East nations if they wish to achieve advancement and development.'
