According to Al-Anba’ newspaper, the ceremony will be held under the supervision of Rashid Al-Hamad, Kuwait's Minister of Awqaf with the presence of representatives of 90 Quran memorization centers for men and women from across the country.
Fahd Al-Khazi, who is in charge of the supporting services of the office said the award will be given to the top Quranic institute with the aim of promoting the activities and programs of Quran memorization centers. "It is in line with realizing the objectives of the centers, namely to disseminate religious sciences and Quranic teachings as well as elevating religious awareness in the society.”
“Such a ceremony for honoring the top institute will create an atmosphere of competition among Quranic centers to promote their levels which will cause more students to be attracted to the centers,” he added.
He concluded by saying that the office has set a series of criteria covering all of the activities of the centers in various social, official and advertising fields to select the best Quranic institute.
