Sheikh Kassem added "When the government collapsed, we did not think for one moment about participation in the new government or about having the parliamentary majority," adding "Hizbullah's demands are to apply the Taef accord, enabling national partnership, maintaining civil peace, maintaining the army-people-resistance equation, shutting the door in face of any "Israeli" scheme and taking care of people's affairs." His Eminence further explained that is why we nominated premier-designate Mikati to fulfill these demands.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Hizbullah Secretary General Deputy His Eminence Sheikh Naim Kassem assured that "The new government to be formed is a government for all Lebanon, whether all sides participate in it or not. It is a government of clear political choices; it is not a government of sectarianism." He further stressed that the conflict in Lebanon today is between two paths, a path of right, justice, and independence, and another of guardianship and subordination.

During a political syndicate assembly organized by the Islamic Architects gathering, Sheikh Kassem wondered why some sides discussing the issue of withdrawing the protocol signed between Lebanon and the international tribunal as a priority on the government's agenda. "Isn't this issue a major item in the S-S initiative which the other camp suggested," Sheikh Kassem questioned.

Moreover, Hizbullah SG Deputy stressed that "the international tribunal is a US-French-"Israeli" tribunal and was never related to revealing the truth since the very first day of its birth. The 14 March camp is clinging to this tribunal just like the US and the Zionist entity are doing, because they realize Hizbullah might be harmed from the indictment. But all should know that we know the fabricators and supporters of the false witnesses, just like we know well who the false witnesses are."

On another note, Sheikh Kassem said that the Egyptian revolution will have its repercussions on the entire region, and on all the free people of this world. He also assured Hizbullah's support to the choices and demands of the Egyptian people.

At the end, Sheikh Kassem pointed out that "Israel" today lives in a state of confusion and tension since it does not know which revolution to face, that in Egypt, Tunisia, Lebanon, Iran or Syria.
