(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Palestinians view East al-Quds as the capital of their future state, but watch in dismay as Israel's illegal settlements grow and roads expand deep inside the occupied lands.
They are concerned that the project will mean confiscation of more Palestinian land in East al-Quds. They say this is a greater plan Israel is conducting in order to remove all Arabs from East al-Quds.
The deputy governor of East al-Quds, Abdullah Siyam, says Israel plans to connect these roads to the many illegal settlements in East al-Quds in order to move further inside the occupied Palestinian land.
