(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Seyyed Mousa Mousavi, the deputy for the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in Sannandaj city in western Iran, said that some 80 Sunni clerics were martyred so far in the battle against the enemies, and this is a sign of the sincerity of the clergymen to Islam and the Islamic revolution in Iran.
He said that the Grand Islamic Center in Western country is the best icon of unity and integrity among shia and sunni clerics.
“Undoubtedly, maintaining the status of the clergymen in Kurdistan is thanks to the activities underway in the Islamic center,” he added.
He said that the Grand Islamic Center in the city over the past years has turned into a hub for cultural activities of Western Azerbaijan and Kurdistan provinces.
Kurdistan province in western Iran is home to the majority of Sunni Muslims in Iran.
