Organized by the central branch of female members of Resistance Movement in Lebanon (Hezbullah), the seminar was attended by ‘Ifaf Al-Hakim, in charge of the central committees of Hezbullah women, wife of the Iranian ambassador to Lebanon and women from Lebanese parties.
Rania Barud, head of the Radio and TV Department of Antony Media University in Lebanon, and Sa’ad Al-Hakim, Islamic philosophy lecturer in Lebanon University and Zeynab Jom’ah, presented speeches at the program.
The head of the department made a comparison between the characteristics of Jesus Christ (AS) and Imam Hussein (AS) and referred to their common objective and similarities of the two characters.
The lecturer stressed that Imam Hussein (AS) and the Jesus provided a perfect model of devotion for God and realized the concepts of human perfection.
He clarified the historical and civilizational achievements of Imam Hussein’s (AS) uprising and called on Muslims and Christians to try to learn more about the eminent Islamic and Christian values in the New Year.
