Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem warned the other bloc against being tools in the hands of the Americans and Israelis, assuring them that they wouldn’t care about them in case they fail or even if they achieve their goals.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem warned the other bloc against being tools in the hands of the Americans and Israelis, assuring them that they wouldn’t care about them in case they fail or even if they achieve their goals.

Speaking in religious ceremony in Beirut’s southern suburb, Sheikh Qassem emphasized that those seeking to employ the Special Tribunal for Lebanon against the Resistance will be disappointed. "Don't be mistaken because the plan will backfire against you and not against us," his eminence warned, addressing his words to the other bloc.

"You will fail before your supporters, don't be pawns in the hands of the Americans and Israelis because they don't care about the pawns once they achieve their goals," Sheikh Qassem stressed.

Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General, meanwhile, mocked at the other bloc’s belief that it was possible to delete Hezbollah through the so-called Special Tribunal for Lebanon, or that it was possible to influence the Resistance’s path as well as its presence and role. "To us, the STL is like a small sting compared to the great mountain that was the July 2006 war," Sheikh Qassem emphasized.

"After all press leaks about the indictment to be released by the STL, what are they waiting to issue it? Almost everything was already announced, and the repercussions started to emerge on the ground. It has been proved that the indictment’s spectacle has failed and is doomed to failure, and therefore, that the STL hasn’t achieved any of its goals yet."

Sheikh Qassem, who noted that Israel hasn’t left the Lebanese scene for even one second in the few past years and was recording everything and spying on everyone, wondered how all this didn’t deserve from the STL to summon Israeli officials and question them about their actions. "This is an additional proof that the international tribunal is nothing but an Israeli tribunal which, of course, does not seek truth."
