Local sources said that the soldiers broke into a number of houses in the village at dawn Sunday before taking away Mohammed Awawada, 22.

In another incident, the IOF soldiers stormed the office of Hamas MP Mohammed Abu Juhaisha in Edhna village, west of Al-Khalil.
Local sources said that the soldiers left the office in chaos after thoroughly searching it then searched the MP's home in the same manner.
