(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - On the occasion of the month of Muharram and martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions, mourning ceremonies are held at Imam Ali (AS) Mosque in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
The ceremonies held every year with the beginning of the month include recitation of Quran’s verses, speeches presented by experts and clerics and mourning rituals performed by Muslims of Afghan, Iranian, Azeri and Pakistani origin.
Kazem Ghasemi gives lecture this year’s programs which are organized by Iran Cultural Center in Kyrgyzstan.
The mosque which was set up by Islamic Republic of Iran plays holds religious ceremonies on various occasions for Kyrgyz Shia Muslims.
