A package of books and DVDs disguised as cargo of foodstuffs has been discovered in Bandar Lengeh in southern Iran by customs officials, who described the items as ‘anti-Shia’.

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - “The package was comprised of 1050 copies of 35 different books, 700 DVDs and 33 tapes promoting divisive themes, which were to be distributed among the youth in Bandar Lengeh to pollute their minds about Shiaism,” Bandar Lengeh Customs Office director Hamidreza Mohammadi said.

According to Mohammadi, all members of the crew of the vessel, which had been loaded in Dubai, are Iranian nationals.
