180 male and female students have been admitted to the Quran Studies College in Babylon, Iraq, this year.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - 180 male and female students have been admitted to the Quran Studies College in Babylon, Iraq, this year.

According to Al-Maddi daily, dean of the college Ammer Umran Al-Khafaji said the students were admitted after taking an entrance exam.

100 of the admitted students will study in the field of Quranic sciences while the other 80 will take courses on language of the holy Quran, he added.

The college’s instructors and academic board members are all scholars in the field of Quranic scinces, he noted.

Mr. Al-Khafaji went on to say that source books related to Quranic sciences have been provided at the library of the college to help the students in their studies.
