'Good news' would be released in the future about developing long-range air defense systems, Deputy Coordinator of Khatamol-Anbia air base Brigadier General Mohammad-Hassan Mansourian said.
He added that Tehran was developing air defense systems to hit long-range targets.
The brigadier general criticized Russia for not meeting its commitments on delivering the S-300 missiles to Iran under pressures exerted on Moscow by the US and the Zionist regime.
The official added that experts of Iran's defense industry have succeeded to completely design and manufacture Mersad (Ambush) and Shahin (Hawk) missiles inside the country.
He stressed that the two air defense systems have successfully replaced their similar old western-style Hawk missiles.
