(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Some 90,000 Iranian pilgrims have so far arrived in Saudi Arabia to perform the annual Hajj.
70,000 of the pilgrims are in the holy city of Makkah while the other 20000 are still in Medina, Hamid Habibi Tanha, an Iranian Hajj official told IQNA.
He noted that 95 percent of the Iranian Hajjis in Makkah have been accommodated in the Aziziya district which is close to Masha’ir and Mina and they can have easy access to these two sites.
Bus services have been provided for the other 5 percent who are far from the two sites, he said.
Mr. Habibi Tanha added that all the meals for Iranian Hajjis in Makkah are cooked in two centralized kitchens and that diet meals are served for those who suffer from Diabetes.
He went on to say that in total over 100,000 Iranians will perform Hajj this year.
