Ahlul Bayt News Agency ; GAZA -- Islamic Jihad movement described the meetings in Egyptian resort town of Sharm El-Sheikh between Abbas's authority and the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) as a new round of deception.

It said in a statement on Tuesday that the negotiations only target imposing new concessions on the Palestinian negotiator, who goes to the direct talks with popular unanimity against this step.

It warned that negotiations would only allow Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu and his government more time to complete its expansionist and programmed settlement scheme and to endorse its control of occupied Jerusalem.

"We renew our rejection of those talks and our insistence on the option of resistance, and steadfastness and on foiling the attempt to liquidate the Palestine cause," the movement concluded.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rounded up a Jihad leader in Jenin in a pre dawn raid on Tuesday, local sources said.

They added that an IOF unit stormed the home of Sharif Tahayna, 46, and confiscated his personal computer after searching and taking photos of his home.

Tahyana had served ten years in IOA jails and was repeatedly detained by Abbas's militias especially in the late nineties of the past century and was also detained a few months ago.

Another disguised IOF unit kidnapped Anwar Naji from Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem last night, witnesses reported, noting that the kidnap coincided with the wave of arrests carried out by Abbas's militias in this camp.
