Russian Justice Ministry has suspended work of the public organization Islamic Cultural Center of Russia.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency ; Moscow -- Russian Justice Ministry has suspended work of the public organization Islamic Cultural Center of Russia.

The corresponding instruction was signed on September 8, a source in Russia's Mufti Council told an Interfax-Religion correspondent on Monday.

The Islamic Cultural Center headed by Abdul-Vahed Niyazov, a so-called "public wing" of Russia's Mufti Council, was warned by the Justice Ministry in April and August and asked to correct some significant violations of the Russian legislation discovered in course of the Ministry's planned inspection.

As was reported earlier, the inspection discovered there were no ICC branches in Russian regions, which contradicts to the announced all-Russian status of the organization, and other numerous violations in financial and economic activities.
