Ahlul Bayt News Agency, On 23 August 2010, Saudi Wahhabi authorities released Sheikh Kadhem al-Amri without explanation or giving any reasons .
Al-Amri's release reportedly was attributed to advocacy efforts by a lot of Shia personalities and notables .
It is worth to mention that some members of General Intelligence (Al-Mabahith Al-'Aamma) attacked on 2 August 2010 the farm of Sheikh Muhammad Ali al-Amri in in Awali district of al-Madinah al-Monawarah under the pretext of violating municipal laws and regulations by allowing some of the expatriate workers work in shops belonging to the farm sell Shia religious materials and symbols in private .
The attack on the farm came without prior permission , and the members of Al-Mabahith Al-'Aamma jumped from the top of the upper walls of the closed farm and they broke the doors.
Sheikh Kadhem al-Amri , a prominent Shia religious scholar , and his father's farm considers a prominent Shia religious center in al-Madinah al-Monawarah which has his office and a big mosque and a guesthouse that receives scores of pilgrims and guests every day .
