Hafezat-ol-Quran School in the holy city of Karbala is to hold a four-month Quranic course for the elderly women in the city who are not skilled in Quran recitation.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), Hafezat-ol-Quran School in the holy city of Karbala is to hold a four-month Quranic course for the elderly women in the city who are not skilled in Quran recitation.

According to “MOZN” News Agency, Um Mustafa Al-Khafaji, supervisor of the course, said that elderly women participating in the course will be instructed in the correct way of Quran recitation.

“The course will be held every week on Saturday and Wednesday for two and a half hours,” she said, adding that the course includes learning the correct recitation of the holy Quran, Tajweed (rules for correct recitation), as well as memorization of some Quranic chapters (Surahs).”

“Word-for word recitation method will be applied in this course to make the instruction easier,” she further said.
